Built for teachers who have too much to prepare and too little time.
LessonCue started from a straightforward observation: teachers are spending a significant amount of their personal time writing quiz questions that students will answer in ten minutes. The work is repetitive, it doesn't require a teacher's expertise to do, and it happens week after week across every subject and every level.
We built LessonCue to take that step off the teacher's plate. You upload the lesson content you already have — notes, a PDF, a Word file — and LessonCue generates the quiz questions from it. Students join with a link from any browser, no account required. When they're done, you see exactly which students understood the material and which topics need more time before you move on.
The workflow is designed to be fast enough to use at the start of any lesson, not just at the end of a unit. A five-minute knowledge check, run with real data, is more useful than a forty-minute test you graded after the topic has already moved on.
Who uses it
LessonCue is used by language teachers, subject teachers, tutors, and department heads — across classrooms, language schools, online sessions, and one-to-one lessons. The tool doesn't assume a specific subject or format. As long as you have lesson notes, it works.
What we focus on
We keep the product focused on three things: fast creation from your own material, access for students that doesn't require any setup, and results that are genuinely useful for deciding what to teach next. We don't build features that look impressive in a demo but add friction to daily teaching.
Privacy and student data
Students who join a LessonCue session do not create accounts, and we do not collect personal data from them beyond the name they type to identify their responses. Teachers' data is stored securely and is never sold or shared with third parties.
For privacy review, data deletion requests, or school-level compliance questions, please contact us directly at info@lessoncue.com.
- ✓Teachers should spend their prep time on teaching, not formatting.
- ✓Student access should never require IT setup or account creation.
- ✓Assessment results are only useful if they inform the next lesson.
- ✓A tool that takes 20 minutes to learn is a tool most teachers won't use.
